FAQ

The answers to the most common questions. Please emails us your question, and we will be glad to answer it for you.

Is PEP just for children and youth?

No.  PEP works primarily with adults who are interested in feeling better in their lives.

I’m afraid of horses. Does this mean that PEP is not for me?

No. Feeling afraid of horses is a natural response to being around such large animals who do not speak our language.  We will guide you through what you need to know to keep yourself safe.

Is there riding involved?

No.  Relating to horses face to face has significant benefits beyond focusing on riding.

Do you accept insurance?

No.  Some medical insurance plans may reimburse our services as out-of-network. It will be up to you to correspond with your insurance provider regarding this possibility. We are happy to provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance company.

Do you offer a sliding scale fee?

Yes.  We do our best to make our programs affordable to everyone.  Please call us to discuss.

How often will we meet with the horses?

Session frequency is flexible.  EEP is a powerful therapeutic model and most people will leave even a single session with helpful insight.
